After ordering and waiting 7 weeks, I picked up my Lariat Friday. Unfortunately, starting Saturday, the touchscreen randomly doesn't come on whe the truck is started. Sometimes it does, but usually it does not. The touch portion functions, but no display. If I can hit the right spot for the Home icon, the display usually (not always) comes back on. Also, if I put it in reverse and let the camera come on, then go to drive, the display comes on. Then, tonight, the camera quit working. Dealership says they have never heard of this. I am taking it in tomorrow, but wondering if anyone else has had an issue.

 

My best advice is to take it in quickly if the problem is happenig incase it is a short.

 

My 2016 xlt with sync 3 - the screen will sometimes have the climate screen appear and Un like your truck I didn't get that option to have screen climate control.
And the funny part is when it does appear it is fully functional I just can't bring the screen up myself.. big time glitch. I called ford and sync and they have no clue
