Does your passenger side window open RANDOMLY?

Second time it has happened. The passenger door's window just drops, and stays dropped. I gotta wiggle through all the other window switches until it just kinda bumps around enough to fix itself.

I have not tried any investigative testing yet. Maybe tomorrow if weather permits.

If this happens at freeway speeds, this could be very dangerous.

Anybody know if this is a known issue? 2015 Lariat SuperCab FX4.

driving with windows open is dangerous?

Why not take it in for warranty repair? Sounds like its falling off the tracks maybe?

Not dropping off the rail. The servo motor engages and drives it down just like the button is pressed.

And driving 70mph with a window fully open at random really sucks for any papers when the wind hits them and sends them everywhere in the cab of the truck. Quite a distraction.

Bad switch or short? No, mine doesn't do that. Get it fixed under warranty.

Sounds completely normal. Courtesy vent, maybe the truck is trying to tell you something.

maybe a sensor is out of adjustment and it thinks the window is blocked?
(like if you put your hand in the window while trying to close it)

Either way... warranty is likely the easiest fix.
