Manual says frt Ctr headrest isn't adjustable or removable. It is removable. At the base of each support leg there is a push button , on the driver side the button is on the outboard side of the base , but on the passenger side post the button is on the inboard side of the base. Push them both in and the headrest will slide right out. Both buttons are difficult to get to buy it can be done.

 

My 2015 it's removable and I finally got around to doing it... just press the buttons and pull up, done!
