I got a 2015 xtl sport fx4 4dr 5.0L and notice that intermittently when I back up the center instrument cluster screen shows nothing, it has the icons on top and stuff but no feed from camera, just black screen. If I place the truck back in park and shut off, then start and back up the screen will work properly.

Where its intermittent, of course its never a problem at the dealership.

 

When it does happen, snap a pic with your phone. I might help the dealer figure it out.

 

I had this happen a few times this winter when it was well below freezing. It doesn't happen now that it's warmer. I also found that opening and closing the tailgate could either make it start working when out or quit working when it was ok. I reinserted the plug into the connector behind the bumper and it did nothing. I'll take it to the dealer next winter when it's cold again.
