3rd and final attempt wirh custom 5k helper bag install :)

My 3rd and final attempt adding 5k bags . Tried the Slam Air kit first but wanted a higher rated bag so went with Air-Lift 5k bags over the axil but had a firm ride. .. Recently had my fabricator make custom mounts and relocate bags behind axil. Was a challenge because truck is lowered 6" in rear but couldn't be happier with results ! Much better ride and will easily support the weight of my 30' foot boat

Looks great I'm thinking about dropping mine 3/6 next month and I'm definitely going to need to come back to this when I'm ready for helper bags. How was the ride quality without the helper bags? I live in North Texas and all the roads are under construction which worries me since I've never lowered a truck. However these trucks look so good lowered, I have to try it haha. I'm just scared to drop it that low. Part of me wants to just lower it 2/4 or even just drop the back 2, but I have a feeling it will be like when you lift a truck 4" you instantly start wishing you would've just gone with the 6" to begin with haha
