Beefier tire options on 4x2
Beefier tire options on 4x2
Noob here. I have a 15 xlt sport 4x2 and am not currently happy with the stock tire appearance. They look too small and just out of place. Mine has 18 inch wheels. I'm not looking for necessarily an off road tire and would like it to remain relatively quiet as well as keep good gas mileage. Is there a option in the middle? Or is the KO2 or AT3 the only other option?
I absolutely loved the michelin ltx at2's that I had on my F250. They will suprise you offroad although not the best. They are quiet too.
As for what size, 275/65/18 or 275/70/18? I would start there. 32 or 33 inch. The Tundra TRD pro runs the 65 size and has some aesthetic changes on the sidewall but same tread it looks like.

Funny you mention that. A guy on Craigslist has a set of these with 20 miles on them he took off his tundra for $500. They are 275/65/18. That will fit the stock suspension with no problems correct?
Wouldn't hurt to take measurements for clearance space.
