Yep - 7K gross is fine!

Do you have the factory brake controller? If not, I'd get one of those rather than an aftermarket because it integrates with the vehicle electronic control system.

 

Get beds that winch down from the ceiling. Its been awhile but I remember those worked out better. We use to just rent them in the past.

Also, I would get one with a seperate sleeping area unless it is just you and the wife.

 

Yes they do. And it is a plug and play add on by the dealer if you don't factory order it.
