leaking gear oil...

Just pushed 13,300 miles on my 2015 screw and developed a problem.

I noticed that I was getting a gear oil drop off the passenger side axle seal. I took it into the dealership and they concurred on the problem. When they started working on it, they gave me a call to tell me the problem. One of the bearings in the front differential was faulting and was tearing up the seal from the inside. Everything was covered under warranty but I was still concerned that it happened so early on.

No problems since the repair last week.

No problem that's what warranty is for.

Dezig,
If most people knew how much could go wrong with the manufacturing of a vehicle, no one would ever buy one! ...and no one would ever set foot on an airplane!
Statistically speaking having only one defect on a vehicle as complex as they now are is a modern miracle of engineering. Most defects pop-up before your warranty expires. Don't sweat it. I'd be more concerned about the mechanic that worked on it than the rest of the truck!

OH, I'm not worried. I was just sharing what happened to my truck.
