Addition of Oem fender flares?

Hello, Has anyone added Oem fender flares to a 2015 truck that did not come with them? Wondering how it went. And how you did it. Looks like a lot of drilling is needed. Thanks, Frank

On the 04-08's you could remove the clips and use two layers of double sided tape where the clips went so you did not have to drill holes on the outside of the fender. You still had to drill the fender lip, but they are hidden anyway.

I was toying with adding them to my truck. Not so much for looks, but in hopes of mitigating some of the spray the tires kick up onto the paint. Im not sure if the OEM flares will help or not?

Personal opinion.

If you don't have the stock flares, get cooler flares. Go get something custom and different. I've seen em with mudflaps built into them, I've seen em plain, I've seen em with huge stainless steel rivets.

And I'd bet a dollar, that the custom ones will be more affordable than the OEM from the dealers.

Just my two cents with no sense.

Just an FYI, there are people who sell OEM pull-offs on ebay REAL cheap. REAL cheap. I was looking into it, until I found you had to drill... not doing that.

To add them you will need to drill at least 9 holes in the body for each of the fronts and 13 for each of the rears. That's on the side that faces outwards.
Then if the other holes are not there you have to drill 6 more for each.

Without a good template this could be pretty difficult.
