Welcome to the forum, richard.ranft. If you haven't already, I'd recommend making an appointment for diagnosis at your local Ford Dealership. Additionally, I'd like to offer you the same assistance that I have to other folks on this thread. Send me a private message (PM) with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership. I'll escalate this to your regional customer service manager.

Crystal

I just purchased a 2015 F150 Lariat with the 2.7L EcoBoost and had the Service light come on yesterday with just shy of 700 miles on the odometer. Dealer says it's some sort of Evap problem and they'll have to keep it until Monday to diagnose it more. Seems like this may also be my problem also (service manager didn't give me the code)? Seems to be a real problem with the 2.7L EB out of the gate?

Welcome to the site, moguy1973. Have you heard back from the dealership today? If you'd like me to loop in your regional customer service manager, just PM me the details I posted above.

Yes, heard back from my dealer. They are saying my issue is a bad fuel pressure sensor in the fuel tank and the part should be there tomorrow. Hopefully they diagnosed it properly.

First post. I stumbled across this as I was trying to find answers myself. My light came on 4 days after driving from the dealer (80 miles).

Its rather frustrating and embarrassing to tell family that yeah I got a new truck, but the "check engine light" is on. Otherwise, I love driving it and cant wait to start modding it.

They got this code, and I've been waiting since Black Friday for "parts". Crystal can you help?

This issue that everyone else is having was what was wrong with mine too.

They replaced part fl3z-9d683-f according to the service report and that is the part that is listed on the TSB for this issue.

Service is scheduled for next week. It took almost a month for parts to come in. Thank you for your help Crystal.

Truck was serviced today and the light is gone. I'm hoping that's the only issue I'll ever have with the truck.

2015 f150 2.7 ecoboost check light

Hey new to the site and was wandering if there was anything I could do for my truck, its got 6k miles on it and has the check engine light on twice now. The dealership was saying it was just a vacuum line and reset the computer but has came on again and is very annoying riding around with the light on.

Take it back to the dealer. It needs more than just a vacuum line.
