Fox Shocks versus 2" Leveling Kit

Why wouldn't I just install Fox 2.5 Factory Series Coil Over Reservoir shocks that can be adjusted to up to 2" of lift to level my new truck versus Autospring's 2 Inch Leveling kit? (other than price)

If price was no option then fox shocks all the way. Way better!

To me 2" isn't enough on the new trucks, that's what Is holding me back from purchasing them.

I had the Rancho Quick Lifts on my last truck and they were great but I only paid a little over $300 for them. Unfortunately Rancho does not have them for the 2015 yet.

At over $700 for the Fox shocks I think I will just go with a spacer and wait and see if Rancho, Bilstein or someone else make some in a little lower price range.

So yeah...basically it is the price issue.

That is good news assuming the price is not sky high like the Fox ones! I know I will be looking seriously at them when they come out.

Thanks for the info!

Should be MSRP of others in the quickLIFT LOADED line, so $180ISH. Mind the ISH part.

The 2" is not enough for these trucks. I had the 2" on my 05 and it was level, I now have the 2.5 rough country on my 2015 and its level perfect.

According to ready lift website 2.25" is as high as they recommend so that you don't have premature wear, what do guys think?

Pretty spot on info. Any more and angles get "off" and CV's don't like that.

I had 2.5 spacer on my last truck before I went to the Rancho quick lifts. After about 30,000 miles I started having issues with CV shafts.

Replaced the shafts and switched to the Ranchos which was a 2" lift. Went well over 60,000 miles with them before I traded and never had another issue.

I would not go over 2.

It's real and it is here. It was announced last week at SEMA, and will be released January 2016.

Great news but January! I need it now!

I have a set of spacers in hand and was going to get them installed soon. I really would prefer the Rancho though, decisions decisions..............

Run the spacers now, then run the QLL. It will be a great compare/contrast to what a large strut/valved for the tires does in regards to road manners.
