Has anyone kept track on the 2019 36 gallon tanks for Driver Information Center dashboard mileage estimates? Has the accuracy improved any in the last couple model years? I'm about to do my first fill-up for a known mileage distance and I'm showing overall 17.8 and on a 135 mile trip @ ~62 MPH of 23.4 MPG from my dashboard. I'm skeptical .....

I had a 2016 Silverado that I checked numerous times comparing the DIC mileage vs. a manual fill-up and top-ff and I swear it was 'right on' to 1/10th of a mile consistently. I was hoping the same on the new Ford f150.

Those numbers don't sound unreasonable. The EB can get very good mileage if driven conservatively.

But I was wondering if any improvements in accuracy has been done on the dashboard mileage estimates as opposed to what is actually found at the pump?

Well, see what numbers you do come up with when you fill up. Your dashboard may be right on, or it may be off. Each truck can be different. Let us know.

Since I didn't record the first fill-up odometer reading I can't test the odometer estimate vs. hand pump fill-up (Yep, I screwed it up!). However for 594 miles of mixed Interstate and local driving on 30.1 gallons I got 19.7 MPG. I'll take that with 1,100 miles on it running mixed top-tier 87 and 93 octane estimated blend of about 90-91 octane.

I'll check the dashboard estimate next time.........
