Troublesome Rattle

Anyone else have a muted rattle coming from the drivers side rear of the cab?
With the pothole patched roads of Massachusetts it is hard to tell where it is. I have tried to isolate it but could be anything. Guess it will trouble me until I find it. Roads here are like driving on rumble strips all the time.

It might be a good idea to bring this up the next time you're at your dealership, bkool2323. Since it sounds like you can replicate the rattle pretty easily, take your tech along for a test drive so you can show them what you're experiencing. If you decide to get the dealer involved, let me know and I'll alert your regional customer service manager.

I owned a 2013 Raptor and experienced the same thing. I finally figured it out. It was the rear, passenger seat belt rattling against the outside of the seat. Try buckling the seatbelt in the rear and see if it goes away. At times, they get twisted up and have a mind of their own.

I just dropped all 3 skid plates out from my truck this morning to clean them out. I couldn't believe all the rocks, dirt and Fir cones riding in there (actually I can).

I hope my rattles go away now.

Found it. Have fire extinguisher under rear seat. Thought it was secure, not. Nice and quiet again.
