We also never found out what the space was for above the ITBC. They said something was coming for that space. What say you?

I haven't had a 10-speed since I was a kid.

I wouldn't mind getting one in '16, hint hint.

Bingo. You nailed it!

Ford Unveils Pro Trailer Backup Assist for 2016 F-150

Pro Trailer Backup Assist for the 2016 Ford F-150 makes it easier for drivers of all skill levels to back a trailer up, such as when launching a boat or parking in a driveway. Using Pro Trailer Backup Assist, customers steer a trailer instinctively by turning a **** left or right to indicate trailer direction while the truck controls its steering and limits vehicle speed. Pro Trailer Backup Assist is the latest example of Ford changing the way the world moves-- delivering smart solutions that save time and improve the productivity of customers, so they can spend more time on the job or enjoying the lake.

So the 2016 deltas are:
1. QNX-based Sync 3
2. A little steering wheel, next to the steering wheel, that only works when backing up?

Hmmm, that is GOLD to me if that feature really works! I may be tempted to trade in my 2009 for this feature alone! I hate backing up with my 7x14 enclosed trailer. Time is money for me and so is the frustration factor. I will test drive one and see how it fits me!

Speaking of which why don't they offer this option for 18 wheelers... including tandem trailers! Seems the technology is there!

For all the people who have learned the old fashioned way... I applaud you and your skills. On the other hand, it is about time that technology has something truly great to offer (my opinion), and I will be glad to part my hard earned money for this convenience.

Looks like I will be asking my uncle who works at Ford for the family discount!

It's software too and essentially the same software that's in active park assit. It's for backing up because it's for trailers and is really cool. It's like Active Park Assist but for Trailers.

The Pro Trailer Backup Assist on the 2016 Ford F-150 is tested at Elizabeth Park Marina in Trenton:

We don't know what all will be on the 2016 but what we know SO FAR is:

1) CNG prep
2) Trailer Backup Assist (as seen on the Atlas)
3) SYNC 3 replaces MFT (big improvement, but only a rumor so far - not confirmed)
4) Shadow Black replaces Tuxedo Black
