2015 Crew Cab Rear Seat?

Does anyone have any first hand knowledge or view of the rear seat in the new F150 Crew Cab? I'm curious if it is more or less a carryover or if they have given it any additional recline/bolstering similar to the Tundra?

Not sure about the F150 but the new Tundras have done away with this feature. Toyota claims that customers preferred having the seat bottom fold up (like ford) to make additional storage room for hauling items in the cab.

The folding feature is outstanding in the supercrew. I just hope they do something different with the rear headrests. They block basically 85% of the rear window. I removed mine immediately.

Not sure if it was 2012 or 13MY but they have a button and then they fold fwd mostly out of the way.

I've got a 2012, and had to immediately remove the center rear headrest. I'm a fairly tall guy, and I couldn't see out the back window. I left the other ones in though.

With the tow mirrors I find that I never have to look out the rear window.

I just installed tow mirrors on mine too, and I don't hardly look out the back window anymore either! But I still prefer it with the rear headrests removed. Those things are obnoxiously large.

Agreed! When I go from my truck with the tow mirrors to my wife's Flex with it's tiny mirrors, I can't see a dam thing! Ford's tow mirrors are the best addition to trucks in a long time!

They are there for getting a better crash test rating, at least that was the excuse Ford put forward in 2011 when they were made taller.

They help get a better crash test rating for the crashes caused by not being able to see out the back window
