That's exactly what I was thinking and it's not good. This would be the first F-150 that I did not like at first sight since the 1997 model. That is if these pics are legit.

From looking through it there's a lot to like about it but the grill just kills it for me.

Cliffs:
2.7L Ecoboost (graphite iron block)
3.5L V6
3.5L Ecoboost
5.0L V8

Aluminum body, steel frame, bed and mirror LED spotlights, 4 external cameras, much larger inverter and some type of hitch assist to help couple a trailer are the highlights from the link.

And more payload and towing than the previous gen.

I think I might go with the new next-gen 2.7L EcoBoost if it is as good as they say it is and doesn't decrease payload.

The frame is FULLY boxed and made from high-strength steel. In your face TH.

From its fully boxed, high-strength-steel frame to the use of high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloys* in its body and bed, this F-150 takes tough to a whole new level. Weighing in as much as 700 lbs. less than its predecessor helps make this truck a whole lot more capable and more effective too. Plus, it accelerates, brakes and resists corrosion like never before. In addition, we standardized the chemistry of the aluminum alloy used in the construction of the 2015 F-150 body and bed to facilitate recycling. Our aluminum scrap can be reclaimed and sent back into the manufacturing process to minimize waste.

Our new, fully-boxed high-strength steel frame is stronger and more rigid than ever with eight cross sections. Roll forming allows us to tailor the gauge of the steel in specific sections of the frame in order to maximize strength as necessary.

I hope it doesn't look like that. What happened to the front of the truck. Doesn't look like the body lines changed much on the sides and it sure does have the character of a tundra....

It looks like an (even) uglier version of a Tundra. And boy, I thought those looked bad . . .

I still don't even like how the 09-14 F150s or new Silverados look, but both have grown on me with time, obviously the F150s has more. But I also thought my body style (04-08) looked bad when they came out too, so we'll see. These may take a LOT of time to get used to or grow affection for.

All these new trucks look so cold and mechanical-no personality. I know they're machines, but they look like they'd kill you if I Robot ever came to fruition.

Yes, this morning and it will probably be shown here live:

Some other changes. They got rid of the STX. XLT will be available with or without chrome, kind of like STX. FX4 will be on any model with 4x4.The redundant Limited is gone.
