Tail light filling with water!

My driver side tail light on a 6 month old 2018 Screw XLT FX4 is filling with water! About an inch in the bottom sloshing around and condensation throughout the assembly. I emptied it once and it comes back. Is this a common problem? Thinking about adding goldfish!

Well -- yes and no. Stuff like this is made on a large scale basis and there is some quality control, but not enough for production rate.

I would take it to the dealer and have them replace it. Simple process for them to swap out. They probably won't even bring it into the shop when they get the replacement.

Sure sounds like a warranty issue to me.

Yeah, I will take it in next week - I was mainly wondering is anyone else had seen this. Best I can tell, a piece of the seal (which appears to be a bead of some type of adhesive/caulk) along the top of the assembly between the two parts of plastic is missing - it was never there - an incomplete seal job. Water runs down the side of the truck and directly into this opening.

Dealer replaced it no problem. Took two trips - on the first trip they took pictures and "had to check with Ford"... but called back in a couple of days and said they would replace it under the warranty. All good!
