Just how much aluminum does the closed loop recycling process at the Ford Dearborn Stamping Plant save?

I drive an old truck but, I'm drinking beer as fast as I can so you people can have new trucks.

Last month I drank three F-150's and Super Duty.
No need to thank me.

LOL! Well that's dammed decent of you!

Didn't watch their (NON)info-mercal. Otherwise, this is just another one of those touchy feelly statements from Ford that means virtually nothing! Even if they make say, 1000 trucks a year from their scraps, you have to consider how many trucks that they make from Virgin metal to get a REALISTIC idea of how much metal they're actually recycling. A quick internet search found the claim that they sold "564,451" through September of last year. So you can do the match: (their claimed number made from recycled aluminium) / (564,451 x 12 / 9) will tell you how much material they recycled.

Sorry, that's my fault.
Every time I pop a top, I stand up and salute the Flag.
