I have a 14 F150 XL that the gauge cluster has died, the cluster has power to it and still won't work. I took it to a guy who fixes them and he can't find a reason why it doesn't work and wants to send it off to have another shop look at it. Any ideas why it would be dead and if I buy a junkyard cluster would that work without programming in the meantime?

 

Cluster must be programmed. No way around that.
