Code B10F1 even after Iginition Switch replacement

Google/Forum search suggested new ignition switch replacement as the most likely repair for code B10F1 - Key in Switch Circuit short to ground or open. Code remains after replacement done and codes cleared (by code reader). Is something else needing work or does my reader not have ability to clear this code?

That DTC (B10F1) indicates there is an issue with the switch on the ignition cylinder that tells the system whether or not a key is inserted. Depending on how it fails, either you won't get a chime when the key is inserted and the driver's door is opened or the chime will sound with the door opened but no key inserted.

It's nothing major unless the chime doesn't work when it's supposed to and you only have one key and you accidentally lock it inside. Then you have a problem.
