Hey all, I've got an '11 F150 XLT with a 5.0. My truck is blowing cold air only, and I hear a clicking from in the dash.
I know this is an actuator, but I'm unsure the exact part number of the one I need to replace and it's location.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Sounds like you need a blend door actuator. Part numbers/b 8L8Z-19E616-C.

 

If the actuator was the problem, would it be clicking? It may be the blend door instead.
I just had an actuator failure on my old 2002 and it made no noise. It just blew hot air all the time. Your truck is newer and may be made differently. I don't know. On mine, I was able to remove the lower cover and verify the actuator was not moving.
