Hello Guys,
2010 Ford F 150 Quad 4x4 Platinum
Cold Air stop blowing thru drivers side vents. Blows Cold on right side.

One Ford Dealer Service quoted 8 hours labor to replace ($1300) which involved removing the dash and another Ford Dealership Service Center quoted only 1.5 hours labor to replace the actuator.

Please note: I saw a video where a 2010 Ford F150 Lariat show'd the actuator to be behind the Gas Pedal Assembly.
Question: Would the 2010 Platinum drivers-side-actuator-location be in the same place as the 2010 Lariat?

I purchased the Ford Part at the dealership parts department for $46

They all refer to the Manual at their service desk. I asked if the could converse with a real mechanic that actually has the experience?
I'm not really a fan of having someone remove the dash, because of the possibility of it not seating back in properly once repaired, if in fact that's the route chosen.

I would appreciate any light shed on the subject.

Blend door actuator on my 2010 was on passenger side behind, and up to the left of glove box. Buddy did it for me in an hour or so.
