2011 402k miles 3.5 Ecoboost cam phaser and timing chain repair cost

I have a 2011 F150 3.5 Ecocboost with 402k miles, I have owned since 18k. I am getting cam phaser noise on start up in the morning and fine the rest of the day. No codes, but want to see what average cost is to repair. Truck is otherwise in good shape and my daily driver.

Are you sure you aren't just getting a dry start? What are you using for oil and filter?

No idea about the Ecoboost, but a complete timing job on a 5.4 3 valve is about 2 grand.

Sounds about right for a rebuild/repower. Good deal on getting it to almost 1/2 million miles.

I'm curious to know how often the oil changes were done? And if the engine ever needed the intake ports cleaned? And what other maintenance/repair the engine has required such as throttle body replacement? I've read elsewhere that the throttle bodys were a high maintenance replacement?
