Ok so I’m new here not sure if this has been brought up but while searching around I didn’t come across anything like what I’m dealing with exactly.
I have a 2013 Ford F-150 FX2 3.5L
about a week ago my “Mi to E” and “AVG MPG” on dash quit reading and now just has “- - -“ dashes in place of numbers. Looked online and found many people saying the sending unit wasn’t reading and to clean it with a bottle of Techron Plus cleaner. So waited til I was down to 1/4 fuel and added a bottle of Techron and began to fill with fuel. While filling I noticed a puddle of gas under truck but tank wasn’t full yet (was at 3/4 at that point). Dash is still not reading numbers. Headed out of town today so needed to make sure I was fueled up, but couldn’t even get a full gallon in before auto shut off kicked in. Had to keep squeezing the nozzle over and over after each shut off kick just to get 10gallons(took me about 7-10mins just for that little amount) I’ve tried searching the internet for a reason all this is happening but have had no luck so made an account on this forum site to maybe hear back from someone.
