First off, yes I tried to search-no luck.

I filled my truck tonight and noticed the "easy fuel" ring on the filler neck looked like it was sitting crooked. Tried to push it back in place and it and the black " no cap" piece came off. Does this assembly snap together or did it break? It is just the plastic pieces that came off, the metal flapper is still in there and working. Nothing is loose or hanging so I'm a bit confused how this thing works. Or do I just need to buy a new one? My registration and cali smog check are comming up soon, I need to fix it.
the truck is a box stock 2013 screw XLT v-6 non eco boost.

I don't know if any other info is needed but will supply it if need be. It's been a long time since I have been on here because this truck has been pretty trouble free in the 126,000 miles I have had it.
