Hey everyone, new member here and I was hoping someone might have the answer to my question. So my rear defroster and heated seats stopped working on my 2010 F-150 FX4 and I recently took it to my local dealer to have it checked out. They said the rear window would need to be replaced to fix the defroster issue and the climate control unit would need to be replaced to fix the heated seats. Since they wanted over $2K for the repairs I am trying to save some money. I was looking into replacing the climate control unit myself, it looks like it's just a plug & play unit but cant get a definitive answer. I had someone tell me the part would need to be programmed, my local dealer said they weren't sure and another dealer said it looks like it's just plug & play. The part number is AL3Z-19980-R. Hoping someone would have some better insight on this part and if it needs programming or not.
