Good afternoon ya'll! This old guy has another question. I have a 2013 Ford F150 XLT. I have to manually position my mirrors to park under the carport. My wife has a new Expedition and it takes up some room. I am looking into installing the folding mirrors like her 2017 Expedition. I did some research and I believe that the wiring is already there to control it. Is this true? Is it an easy swap or a mess to try? Thanks for any help.

 

I believe you have to buy the power folding mirrors and a new button that has the power folding already on it. Wiring should already be there.

 

Are your mirrors heated already?
I had a friend that did the swap to fit in his garage and plugged them in and they worked. If they are not heated you might need to run wire from what he was told from the mechanic at the Dealership.
