2013 F-150 5.0 spark plug change

Bought truck a couple months back, it’s got 126k miles on it and not sure if a spark plug change has been done by anyone before I got it, so I’m gonna go ahead and do it just to be safe. I’ve got a magnetic spark plug socket, the sp548 spark plugs(checked and regapped to .050), dielectric and anti seize. The process seems pretty simple but I wanted to ask for any tips or things to watch for.

Do I need to put anti sieze on the threads and dielectric on the boots? I’ve seen where some people say to do both and some say no anti seize, so which is correct for this truck?

And after finishing the change, do I need to clear the KAM or do an idle relearn?

No relearning required.

If you are using Motorcraft plugs, do not use antiseize and torque them to 12 ft/lb. Definitely use dielectric in the boots, a small amount avoiding getting it on the contact springs. Be careful not to break the coil connector clips.

I would consider replacing the coil springs and boots.

Yep definitely Motorcraft just to be safe
Thanks for that tip.. do these normally need replacing with spark plug changes? How do you tell if they need to be changed?
Are they pretty easy to replace?
