Third brake light.

I have been trying to find a good wiring diagram for the third brake light. The aftermarket light assembly was looking bad, and wanted to replace it. Whoever installed decided to hardwire it to the harness, and didn’t do a good of it. I want to solder the new pigtail, and install the stick assembly. Can someone please point me in the direction where I can find the six pen connector description, and wiring diagram?

Year model might help get you the help you're after

It should be a simple power and ground on the light itself.....

There is a third wire. Not sure which one is the signal wire.

I would assume it has a red section for brake light, and a white section for bed illumination when the dome light is on. That would account for the 3rd wire.
