Hi I’m new to this group, I have a 09 Ford F-150 with 5.4 motor in it. It’s showing misfire on cylinder 6 , I replaced the cop with number 5 and put all new 8 spark plugs and still showing misfire on cylinder 6 , also put anew injector on that cylinder, what could it be, thanks in advance for your help

 

Have you done a compression test? How many miles on the engine?

 

Hi, it has 246k miles the I just replaced vct solenoids , guides , cam phasers sprockets,timing chains and compression is good

 

Is the COP getting it's primary voltage signal? Is the injector getting its signal? sounds like those are the only two items left to check?

 

Yeah I’m going to check with a noid light tester and see

 

When did the misfire show up? After the work described here or before?
