DRL's for 2013 F150 XLT

I am trying to have my drl's activated but the Ford Dealership will not on the 2013's because it;s not a fleet vehicle. I try to tell them that I own this truck and I want the drl's to be on. They refused. I have a piece of black tape covering the sensor on the dash but I want it the correct way. Any ideas or help?

Find another dealer.

That's bogus garbage telling you they can't because it's not a "fleet" vehicle. I've never heard of that.

I can't believe in this day and age, vehicles don't come standard with DRLs and automatic lights. The two most important safety features.

You can do it yourself with FORScan and a ELM327 OBD2 adapter. FORScan is free and a ELM327 isn't expensive.

First post in this thread shows you where to do it:

The dealer is being a schmuck. Takes 5 minutes with an IDS.
