2010 5.4 Timing Chain issues still?

First I would like to say Hello. I've done lots of research on this forum but finally registered today!
Ok, so here's what I got.
2010 F150 FX4 5.4 Supercrew
I've had the truck for almost 3 years and I absolutely love it. A few weeks ago I started hearing the timing chain slack slapping on the guides so I decided to tackle the job myself.
Here's what I did.
Installed a Melling brand timing kit with cast iron tensioners.
Installed Melling brand cam phasers.
Installed a new Melling M360HV oil pump.
Installed new Motorcraft VVT solenoids.
Installed a new Motorcraft water pump while I was at it.
Problem is I still hear the timing chain slapping on the guides!! Am I missing something? Could the new tensioners be junk? I suppose it is possible.
TIA for any help or suggestions.
Thanks,
Bobby
