2010 Radiator Question - what would you do

Howdy folks... ok, what would ya'll do... here is my question/issue...

I have the 2010 F150 4x4 King Ranch... love my truck... has about 72k on
it now... and I have an extended, bumper to bumper good to 75k miles.

So... a week or so back, I brought her in to have the radiator flush at fill...
as I am a bit over 70k... I had a flush and fill done at 40k as well... so figured '
a little over 70, will get it done... at a local chain shop (not Ford) where I usually
get my oil changed, as its close by etc...

so... local chain shop calls me and says bascially... they won't flush and fill it...
as there is some sludge build up in overflow and radiator neck... they are saying to
replace radiator... (yeah, of course)...

So, I talk to Ford Dealer where I bought it... and where they last did flush and fill
at around 40k...

Service Tech says over phone, he "may" be able to just replace the radiator under my
75k warranty which runs out in another 2k miles... to bring it in...
but his first comment was "is it over heating?" which its not, she runs perfect even in
our AZ heat... and says if not over heating, just leave it. But then says if I want he can
probably get it replaced.

I'm not sure what I should do now... leave it? Flush and fill it anyways? Try and get it
replaced before warranty expires?

I did a little online reasearch and may folks say the sludge is normal as Ford had a
tendancy to add the stop leak pellets which may cause sludge to appear but that all is
ok??

So what would ya'll do?

Left side of my brain says leave it alone... having a little fear of if they replace
radiator... will they break something else etc?

right side says try and get it replaced?

I dunno... my old 2004 FX4 had the same sludge in the radiator and neck and I ran it to about 192k
before trading it for the 2010.

So again, what would ya'll do. Truck runs great!

Thanks!

I think you got more issues.

Most coolants are good for 10 years / 100K. I've run coolant for 150k with no ill effects.

My guess is the dealer didn't do it right or did something wrong. OR you have an issue with the engine.
