Front left caliper sticking

So I have a 13 f150 with a 5.0. It has 70k miles on it. A few months ago I replaced the front rotors and pads due to the alignment being out. A while after that I notice my front driver caliper locking up and not releasing. It would cover my wheel in brake dust. I then replaced the caliper and rubber brake hose from the hard line to the caliper and no luck. With the wheel in the air I still can't spin the rotor. Could it be air in the system or that I bought a bad caliper? At this point I'll be damned if I know what it is.

I also have a 2013 Ford F-15- XLT with only 30,000 miles and I had the same exact problem. Brought it to the dealer and it was under warranty and they replaced both front disc brakes. Even had to smooth down the rooter.

Maybe the new caliper is bad or the fliexible hose is bad.

It sounds like a damaged slide pin. I would carefully check the slide pins.

If not, replace caliper.

If nothing is wrong with the new caliper and the new hose is not twisted, I would look into an ABS valve/module malfunction. If you have replaced parts and still have the same problem, it’s probably not the parts you replaced.

So Sunday I put the truck on jackstands and bled the system. I was told by a mechanic to start with the one farthest away from the brake booster and work my way closer. He said to reset the abs system manually you had to do each one in that sequence. With the key in the on position and the motor not running I bled each one. I started with the passenger rear first and bled it probably 15 times. Every time it was a steady stream of fluid and no air. Every wheel ended up being the same way. After I was done the driver front had released and was seemingly spinning as it should. When I went to crank it I thought something might flash on the dash to tell me it had reset, but nothing came up. So now after two days of driving to work it's trying to lock up again. After I heard a squeak coming out of a red light I knew something was up again, even though I couldn't tell really anything by driving it. I got out at work and could tell the left front was getting hot again. At this point I'm thinking it's the abs system, but have no clue. My abs light has yet to come on. I was told if there is a problem with the abs it is pretty quick to throw a code.
