ecoboost/XLT. 47,000 miles. Earlier today I stopped the truck and left my keys inside it the truck. (I always use keypad to unlock so I don't have to carry keys). I came back after 1.5 hours and keypad would not work at all. I had the truck unlocked, tried to start it and nothing. Everything on the instrument cluster was dark except when I pull the shifter in towards me a few white lights (the gear indicators P R N D) would come on. Also, I could not switch from Park even with key in ON position. Everything on synch and radio, etc seemed to work. No door locks worked. Tried to jump it for the fun of it and that didn't make a difference. Unhooked battery for a minute and hooked it back up. This must've reset something. Truck started and seems fine EXCEPT the little blue marks on the speedometer and the other little blue lights on instrument cluster are on while driving. I cannot turn them off with my light switch like before. They do turn off after I turn key off.

1. Anyone know WHAT happened? I don't want to repeat...
2. Whats going on with not being able to turn off the blue lights on dash?
