Chrome or Black powdercoat

I just picked up a new to me 2014 XLT with the plus package. 3.6L E.B. 22,000 Mi.

I don't have a photo of it yet but it looks exactly like this one.

It has the factory 18" chrome wheels that aren't my favorite. I have a line on some less than stellar Platinum Wheels that are a good candidate for powder coating. I like the 18s for the ride, but like the look of the 20s in black (which was on my old ride).

I'm curious if anyone else has ever regretted going to 20s from 18s?

Also, just like the photo, mine doesn't have the "4X4" decal in front of the rear lights.

Would you get the light gray ones that typically come with the truck or I was think may red ones or the black red black ones just to be different?

Just me, but I'd leave the stickers off, less equals more in a lot of cases, especially with stickers of any kind.
Can't help with the wheels. I went from the same wheels you have, down to the 17" Raptor wheel.
I have powder coated black wheels on my Ranger, and they've held up very well to 3 Michigan winters. I'd be careful with aftermarket chrome, depending on where you live, they might not last.
One of the reasons I went with OEM Raptor wheels, was because I knew they'd hold up.
