Exclamation P0150 CEL code Bank 2 Sensor 1 Need help to diagnose.

Hi Folks! I have a 2010 F150 5.4 3v FX4 truck. I'm traveling and yesterday after a 400 miles trip the truck start to run rough and without the usual power. Today the CEL turn on and I stopped at Autozone and the scanner shows a P0150 code Bank 2 Sensor 1 failure.

What's usually the problems in these trucks when the scanner showathis failure?

Where is the Bank 2 sensor 1 located?

Thanks for your help.

Art Garcia

We need the ACTUAL FAULT CODE, not some vague interpretive description, since there is no such thing as a fault code that explicitly say a sensor is defective.

B2S1 is the upstream sensor on the driver's side.

It's going to be a wiring harness or connection issue, a PCM issue, or a sensor issue. You'd have to perform the pinpoint diagnostics to isolate ... or just guess it's the sensor and replace it.

Now very weird noise

I already change the sensor. The problem must be other thing. In the last 100 miles the truck start to develop a nose in the pasanger side bank. The noise today it's a little louder and the truck is still tuning rough. I stopped at a gas and when turn on I hear a very hard knocking sound. I shut off immediately I didn't get the time to elaborate what kind of sound is it. Any idea? What kind of test I may run without making the things worse?

thanks!
