Running wires from driver side to passenger side

i'm going to install a backup camera on my 14 stx SCREW. and since I know the fuses on the passenger side and I do not know the wiring and pins on the driver side kick panel i plan on tapping into the fuses on the passenger side. for me it is easier to run the wires into the cab on the driver side. My problem that I have is what is the easiest way to run the wires from the driver side to passenger side. Do I go under the carpet, i've heard through the dash somehow. i do not have the shifter on the center console so I was thinking maybe carpet. could someone please help me. thanks.
ps i love the site.

If needing to get them across the front of the cab, I hide under the dash. If going across at the back or even the middle of the cab, I go behind the rear seats or under the carpet.

Generally speaking on most cars I can run wires up against the fire wall, right about where the top of the carpet is. Just reach in behind the AC box and run wires through the small space there

You may not have to remove anything - just zip tie them behind the dash to other bundles or things so they don't move.

As Patman and GLC covered, you just need to get underneath the dash and grab some zip ties. You should be able to see some existing wiring and follow it. There are lots of routes you can take.
