2014 turn signal issue. Hyper flash

I had headlights built for my truck. Didn't have the resistors wired in yet so it was hyper flashing. The passenger side front turn signal isn't working now even with the resistors now installed. Called a dealership to see about getting them re flashed and they won't do it since they are not factory bulbs. Is there any other way to fix this problem? Bulbs are fine as well as all wiring. Thanks in advance!

I remember reading a post about this a while back.

I want to say the truck had to be reset because it didn't like the changes in resistance, from too low, to too high

When I upgraded my flashers in my last truck I did not want the resistors so I replaced the flasher relay.

Check your year and model for compatibility

you could try an "hard reset"

manually disconnect both battery cables, and touch both cables together for a few seconds and reinstall them on the battery

I did the same thing on my 2003. However the newer trucks don't use a separate flasher relay. Its all integrated on the Body Control Module on the truck

i have resistors on my front switch back turn signals or they wont switch from white-parking to amber-turn..

hyperflash can be 'turned off' by having someone program truck for 'blinker out warning' to off.
there is a TSB on this actually for vehicles that come with box delete, and or other options where an outside builder is going to wire in a flat bed and or an ambulance package.
took the guy 2 mins to change this. it however requires a ford IDS laptop or other system loaded with IDS.
they didnt charge me but im sure most would.

also -there are no more 'flashers' as all systems are controlled by the smart junction box and or other modules that are programmed to control just about everything.
not sure what year they started this. i know my 05 mustang had a SJB.. really doesnt take much to **** these off either. if you ever do short something out, or something stops working. just fix the issue, disco battery for an hr. and it should reset itself and then also check for blown fuses. had that happen on my stang when i put in a sequential light kit.
