Telecsoping steering column?

Anyone have a telescoping steering column? I see a part number for a "tilt/slide" steering column, but not sure if thats a poor description or if its actually both?

Thanks

Yes, on my 2014 there is a lever on the side of the column that locks it into position. If you release the lever you can manually tilt or extend/retract the steering column.
My 2011 had tilt but not the telescoping feature.

Not sure what year they changed it, maybe 2012? They used to offer the adjustable pedals, and then they went to column.

Would you mind measuring the distance the steering wheel sits from the dash in its maximum reach?

I also have the adjustable pedals. The button is on the side of the column right next to the tilt/telescoping lever. I'll see if I can get a measurement a little later.

I finally got a measurement. I wasn't really sure how to measure so here's my attempt....There is a bezel that surrounds the gauge cluster. On the bottom the bezel extends out about .5" beyond the clear lens. I measured from the bezel to where the horn button starts. With the tilt all the way up and the column telescoped all the way up I got 8 5/8"... See pic >>> https://www.f150online.com/g/picture/5514829

So if the measurement placement looks like what you did. I'm seeing 7.5 on my end.

So 1" further difference between telescope and fixed. (I imagine your travel is 6.5 to 8.5)

The Platinum trucks have power pedals and power adjustable in/out & up/down column. There is a 4 way switch for the column and a 2 way rocker switch for the pedals on the left side of the column above the driver's knee.

Definitely don't need power column, just thought it might be nice if the wheel was a little closer to me. Especially if it's a bolt on mod
