Speedometer Issue

I had a dead spider stuck inside the plastic cover of my gauge cluster so I removed the cluster and took out the spider. However, when I replaced the cluster, my speedometer now starts well below zero. I'm very new to working on my own truck and tried removing the cluster and setting the dial by hand, but every time I turn the truck on, it goes right back to the below zero position. I even tried setting while the truck was running with no luck. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

Carefully remove the needle and place it where it needs to be. Look up a photo of a cluster like yours and place your needle in the same possition.

I recommended that for another guy on here that was having the same issue and it solved the problem for him. Click here: https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...eedometer.html

When prying up the needle, be very carful as you do not wasn't to damage the stepper motor.

Besides paying a dealer a good amount of money, that's your best bet to do it for free.
