When you get all 3 failures, and your fluid level gets dangerously low, you get complete brake failure.
The front chamber of the vacuum booster is very large - most likely the fluid is just collecting there as it leaks from the MC.

It is highly doubtful that the FLI is also failing. (Fluid Level Indicator switch)
Several of the complaints said the light came on and they ignored it.

More likely is the possibility that the leakage prevents the primary circuit from building pressure... perhaps as you try to build pressure it just "squirts" into the booster.

Either way - I'm 99% sure you still have secondary circuit brakes. Just push that pedal to the floor and push really hard.

Did not know that. Still until Ford figures this out, I'm telling everyone I know with a 13-14 150 to keep an eye on the fluid level.

Apparently, MY '13-14 has an entirely different front suspension setup than MY '09-12, and is the basis for the front suspension in MY 2015+ (some say it's the exact same), so this may explain why this issue is specific to these years.

But as you, I was shocked to learn this significant change in mechanical and engineering design took place mid-body style.

Really? Most of the suspension lift kits have them all the same from 2009-2014. I really haven't compared the two side by side to know. I'm really surprised they would make that big of change half way through the production run. I do know the 2011-2012 EcoBoost trucks are pretty different than 2013 and up trucks.

If the Vacuum Booster were pressurized by the turbos the driver would experience an extremely hard pedal. Not a soft pedal that goes to the floor.
Good catch, my fingers can't keep up with my head sometimes.

I had a very scary experience last month with my 2011 Edge that is similar. My brake booster failed on top of a recent poorly done brake bleed and led to a near miss at an intersection. I was heading down a residential road that turned into a stepp incline. The brakes slowly faded into the floor and I wasn't going to stop in time. Thankfully, I threw it into Manual and geared down and then slammed parking brake once I slowed down and wasn't worried about skidding or spinning out. It worked well and I would suggest the same steps to anyone in a similar circumstance. As stated, you will have some braking. After going down the hill, the brakes weren't doing much more than slightly slowing up the Edge though.

The real kicker is that this happened only 3 days after I had it into the dealer for "poor braking". I found the TSB on the brake booster and even provided it to them. The tech said he couldn't find anything wrong and just bleed out the brakes and sent me home with a $200 bill. I wasn't too happy when I went back to the dealer.

That's not true. My 13 has the exact same setup as my 07 and 05 had. The change was on the 14's only, and it was the bottom of the strut mount. Everything else stayed the same.
