Wookie has you covered, you'll be very happy afterwards.

I would only suggest also adding di-electric grease to the inside of the plug boots before you put them back on.

Basically when I punch it, the engine sputters and looses power. At times it has gone into limp mode until I slow down below 40. the engine light comes on once in awhile, sometimes it goes off, sometimes it doesn't.
I've heard everything form water in the Turbos, to faulty ignition coils, to the vacuum pump,(which I have already replaced).
I know there are many similar issues with other owners. Has anyone had a definite answer that fixes the problem?
For me I would not buy an EcoBoost again, citing, poor milage compared to advertised, engine issues, and overall poor performance.
I've been fighting a shudder problem with what seems like a misfire without any codes thrown...looked into a ton of stuff like condensation problems and oil catch cans...etc. No fix, finally I checked my plugs and found multiple plugs cracked, changing them tonight, hope that fixes my issues. Be a good thing to check on for anyone having shuddering with no codes thrown.

Very likely you're cracked plugs. They seem to be very sensitive to torque. Also make sure you are using a proper plug socket with the rubber protector in it. Sometimes if you even put side pressure on the socket while tightening, it can crack a plug.

good luck!

^^^ don't cheap out and skip the boots! Rumor has it a new TSB is coming out to cover them. They might fall under the emissions warranty so their covered up to 100k.

Emissions Defect Warranty:

— 8 years or 80,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for catalytic
converters, electronic engine control unit (ECU), transmission control
module (TCM), and any other onboard emissions diagnostic module.
— 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for all other
covered parts.

Emissions Performance Warranty:

— 8 years or 80,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for catalytic
converter, electronic emission control unit (ECU), transmission control
module (TCM), and any other onboard emissions diagnostic module
— 2 years or 24,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for all other
covered parts.

Boots would not be covered under the 8/80 emissions defect or performance warranty. If anything, they may launch a customer satisfaction program like they did for the 05 fuel injectors and recently, the Ecoboost vacuum pump.

Okay - which exact warranty? 3/36 bumper to bumper, 5/60 powertrain, 2/24 emissions performance, 3/36 emissions defect, or 8/80 emissions? I don't see where that would qualify under the 8/80, it's not "catalytic converters, electronic engine control unit (ECU), transmission control module (TCM), and any other onboard emissions diagnostic module".

Yeah you are right, I tried to get away without using the proper socket and I paid the price about 8k miles later started having issues. Replaced the plugs last night with proper tooling (and more gentle torqueing ) Seems to of eliminated my shudder...but now have something going on with my wastegates or bov that I need to troubleshoot
