Just changed out door check on passenger side of 2014 F-150 King Ranch. Ford garage said I would have to go through kick panel. I removed kick panel, dropped glove box down and removed climate panel from side of dash. I could find noway to reach the back of the check. There is a electrical wire grommet about 4 inches below the check that that after pulling grommet out of hole, there is room to put a pig tail on the check after removing nuts and bolt to fish the check out and guide the new one back after attaching pigtail. 20 minute job. I used 3 1/8 in. plastic ties for pigtail. Hope this helps someone.
