Instrument Cluster

Having some issues with my '11 XL Supercab V6 Model, basic cluster. On my way to work this morning, the lights and fuel gauge weren't working. I got to work and parked and everything worked, finished work around 2, started the truck up and nothing works now. No gauges, no lights or the small center display. I have tested fuses for continuity and they checked out. Any insight, I'm still testing lines and so forth, but looking to see if anyone might be able to steer me in the right direction. Nothing else in the vehicle is acting up.

Try getting your battery charging system tested. You might have a bad cell in your battery.

Woke up this morning, all gauges are working minus fuel, no lighting on it. It's been raining since this started, I have an 05 mustang, these problems never plagued me with that car, but do these trucks have any water leak issues. This seems like a short or grounding issue. *Update* About 5 minutes after posting this, soon as I got on I40 all the lights turned on, fuel gauge was only reading half a tank even though I filled up last night. Worked all the way to work, parked the truck and then the lights quit working again.

You might want to check for windshield leaks or 3rd brake light leaks.

It still wouldn't hurt to get the battery tested since it's probably around the ~5 year old mark.

Welcome to the site, obxdude018! It sounds like you're going to track down this issue yourself, but if you run into any obstacles, you can always make an appointment at your local Ford Dealership. How many miles are on your truck currently?
