Mileage Question?

Looking at buying a new or used truck. Is 46,700 miles a lot for a 2013 with the 3.5 V6?

By the book it's a little higher than the average but that's nothing to worry about. I would use that to argue about the price.

They are asking $32,200 for a fully loaded Supercrew FX4.

For that kinda money you can buy a 2013 King Ranch 4x4 Supercrew. I'd check around including some of the southern states where 4x4 isn't a requirement. We generally don't have metal eating salt on our roads either.

If all you need is a 2013 4x4 and high miles don't bother you, here's an XL for under 20 and that's the asking. Probably can get it down into the 17's. Engine is a 5.0. Would save a ton of money for the cost of an airplane ticket. If you have any interest,I'm usually going by that way and can stop to look at it.

^^^ where are you finding that truck? I have a friend that's looking and '11-'12 FX4s are mostly around $30k for a 75-90k truck. That's in AR and east TX.

I assume you mean the King Ranch 4x4. Same dealership as the other one I posted.

He sells a lot of trucks as trucks are really his specialty. He deals a lot on units so they don't sit long. While I don't have any affiliation with the dealership other than I've known the owners for decades, I'd be willing to bet you can have this for 30 grand flat. All it takes is a phone call. FWIW, generally he doesn't keep any junkers on the lot. He wholesales the junk and keeps only the cream of the crop. They are great folks to deal with and stand behind their trucks.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I might end up buying a 2015 instead.
