Motofab 2" level install issue.

Hello

I recently bought a 2" level kit from motofab, mostly because they were inexpensive and got decent reviews everywhere, I am attempting to install them, and ran into a problem.

I did everything as instructed, disconnected the tie rod, the upper ball joint the sway bar etc.. had the entire strut assembly out. attached the motofab puck to the assembly and then was unable to get it back in.

instructions state that you will need a prybar but i pried the hell out of it and couldn't get the bottom of the strut into the lower control arm.

am I missing someting? everything I've read or seen makes it seem simple..

Truck is a 2013 XLT supercab with 5.0 - completely stock

When I installed longer shocks that lifted me 2" (since back to stock), I had to use a hammer with a wooden block in front of it to get the bottom of the shock to seat right. Worked for me, try it.

Last time I helped a friend do this he had to stand on the lower control arm to push it as far down as possible while I slid the strut back in.

Thanks for the input, it helped. I got it installed. just had to get a little western with it.

I gained exactly two inches in the front and it's almost perfectly level, the front is about 1/8" higher, but I'm happy with it.

Now for an alignment and new tires!
