Buying 2010 F150 - NEED HELP

I am looking at a 2010 F150 XLT 4x4 with 150,000 miles.

Very reputable dealer but I have never owned a truck and was wondering what, if anything, I should be weary about buying such a high mileage truck?

They have it for sale at $16,305. 1 - owner, never wrecked. Matching flat top bed cover, tow pkg (standard)....

Any questions I should ask, what should I look for/ listen for...etc?

Thanks

If it's 5.4L 3V Stay away. At that mileage the probability of cam phaser malfunction are very high. That repair is going to cost US$1500 maybe more. Search here cam phaser / diesel sound for more info. My truck has this sound since 80,000 miles

Cam Phaser issues were sorted by 2010 from my understanding. My 2010 had 250,000km on it when I sold it and it was dead quiet. It was a solid truck with many more miles on it yet. I only moved on as I received "Approval" to move to something newer with more options.

I recently bought the same truck in a Lariat with 121,000 miles.

Nearly 7000 miles later and it is fantastic, sure beats my old 6.5 diesel Chebby.
