No its super easy if u have the turn signals already in the mirror its simple.

Cutting out the back of the reflectors is the hardest part, i just used a razor blade and that took over an hour for both.

Use a flathead screwdriver to pop off the reflector (push from the outside in)

Use same screwdriver to pop off puddle lamp cover under the mirror to access wires

Grab the green and black wires from inside mirror

Attach led strip to mirror cap and cut out the back of the reflectors

Run led wires down and connect them to green and black turn signal wires

Put back reflector and puddle lamp cover

It took me like 3 hours cuz i cut the reflectors with a razor blade, if u use a dremel its a 1hour job.

Interesting. Seems a lot easier reading your write up. Thanks for the info! Which LEDs did you use?

Just bought 2 18" led strips from walmart and cut them in half.

When I bought the truck the fuel door was loose and didn't snap shut, it wasn't a big deal until about 1 week ago it started popping open when I was driving. I was extremely annoyed so after some research I found out it's a pretty common problem and its also an easy fix, so I fixed it

Glad I didn't scratch it up

Drilled a hole into the bottom and put a washer on it so it shouldn't pop up again

I'm glad it wasn't too difficult.
