Mak Offroad Y Pipe?
Truck: 2013 FX4 SuperCrew 5.0L
Truck is stock with exception to leveling kit, 295/70r18 trail grapplers, and XD wheels.
The guys at 5star tuning have me convinced to buy an SCT tuner with their tunes to adjust my shift points and fix the lazy throttle response.
While on their site, I saw they have a Mak offroad y pipe. I have a weekend car that is my toy, and I dont expect to make a full size truck "fast." I am wondering if the ORY would be a good idea, since I would already be getting a tune at the same time. I don't want the truck to be obnoxiously loud or smell horribly of unburnt fuel, but I wouldnt think either of those would be a problem as I'd be reusing the stock catback.
If anyone has a soundclip of the Mak pipe on a stock exhaust, or any experience with it, please let me know. Definitely getting the programmer, but would like to purchase the Y pipe at the same time if I end up going that route.
